Frédéric Beigbeder, as a literary
columnist for Paris Première since 1997, can be seen with Thierry
Ardisson in the broadcast called « Rive Droite, Rive Gauche »
on Paris Première every evening from 7.30 PM to 9 PM.
He is a young man with numerous occupations and he has written
five novels : « Mémoire d’un jeune homme dérangé
» (La Table Ronde), 1990, « Vacances dans le Coma » (Grasset),
1994, « L’Amour dure trois ans » (Grasset), 1997, « Nouvelles
sous ecstasy » (Gallimard), 1999, « Barbie » (Assouline),
« 99 francs » (Grasset), 2000.
Since 1993 he has been composing literary critiques for various magazines
such as « Globe Hebdo » (1993-94), « Elle » (1995-96),
« Paris Match » (1997), « Voici » (since 1997),
but also « Le Figaro Littéraire », « Lire »
and « Technikart ».
He also takes part in « Masque et la Plume », a literary
radio programme on France Inter, every month.
Frédéric Beigbeder is also a « founder » :
_ the founder and chief editor of « GENEREUX » magazine
in 1992
_ the founder and chief editor of « DELUXE » magazine
in 1993
_ the cofounder and chief editor of « NRV », a literary
review (1996)
_ the founder and secretary-general of Prix de Flore (since 1994)
_ the founder and president of Caca’s Club (1984-1993)
At least, he claims four hobbies : society alcoholism, bourgeois adultery,
lonely reading and superficial conversations ! ! !
